What Information We Collect and How We Use and Disclose It
When you enter and browse the Site, we may collect two different types of information about you: information you provide to us, and information we collect through technology.
Information You Choose to Provide to Us: We may collect personally identifiable information that you choose to provide to us by contacting us directly, for example via email. We may retain such information as permitted by law.
Aggregate Information: In addition to any information you provide to us, we may collect information about you through technological means. For example, we generally record certain usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to the Site[, which we may do by collecting your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, commonly associated with the portal through which you enter the Internet]. This information may also include the websites that you access immediately before and after your visit to the Site, and the Internet browser you are using. The Site may also use other technical methods to track and analyze the traffic patterns on the Site, such as the frequency with which our users visit various parts of the Site. These technical methods may involve the transmission of information either directly to us or to another party authorized by us to collect information on our behalf. If we use such data at all, it will be on an aggregate basis to help us improve and maintain the Site and for any other purpose to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will not use this information to identify individuals, except for site security and law enforcement purposes.
Cookies: Cookies are small text files that are stored in your computer's memory and hard drive when you visit certain websites. You are not required to accept cookies to use the Site, and you are always free to decline cookies if your browser permits. Consult your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you choose to turn off cookies, you may not have access to all of the features and services of our Site.
Disclosure of Your Information:
We may share your non-personally identifiable information with others, such as investors, for informational or promotional purposes. Non-personally identifiable information is information that does not personally identify you, including anonymous information and aggregate data.
By using this Site, you authorize us to use and disclose any of your information under such circumstances, however, we reserve the right to use any personally identifiable information in any manner permitted by law.
The security of your information is important to us. You should be aware, however, that perfect security does not exist on the Internet, and there is always the risk that unauthorized persons may access or use your information. We will not be responsible or liable for any damages, losses or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the disclosure of your information. You use our Site and send us such information at your own risk.
Do Not Track Signals
Peloton does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track signals. However, some third party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, your browser allows you to set the Do Not Track signal so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked.
